This class is designed to strengthen and refine the fundamentals of theatrical costume design in aspiring designers. Experience in technical theatre is not required but highly encouraged. Students will build their skills in the design process while growing confidence in bringing characters to life through clothing. Beginning with basic text analysis and character study, students will progress to hands-on learning through sketching, fabric selection, and garment construction techniques. *SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE*
