S26 – Behind the Curtain: Lighting Design

Have you ever wondered what it takes to put on a play behind the curtain? In this class, students will step behind the scenes to learn what it takes to design the lighting for a production. Students will be introduced to the basics of design through an introduction to script analysis, preliminary design techniques, and the process of programming the lights for a performance. This class will culminate in a showcase of the student’s work for family and friends.
