Have you ever thought, “My child wants to audition for this play but I have no idea what a monologue is or how to find one!” Then this is the class for your student. Throughout the course, students will focus on how to best prepare for an audition here at KCT and beyond. The students will learn skills such as but not limited to how to choose a monologue that is right for you, how to prepare for a musical audition, and how to bring your best self to a cold read audition. Students will leave the class with a memorized monologue that is ready to take into any audition room. This class will culminate in a showcase for family and friends on the last day of class.
