W26 – Behind the Curtain: Props Design

Class Time: 4:30pm – 6pm

Have you ever wondered what it takes to put on a play behind the curtain? In this class, students will step behind the scenes to learn what it takes to design the props for a production. Students will be introduced to the basics of design through an introduction to script analysis, preliminary design techniques and sketches, and the process of props construction. This class will culminate in a showcase of the student’s work for family and friends.
