SU24 – Character 101: Ancient Greece

One of the great cradles of theatre was ancient Greece – it’s also the birthplace of an epic mythology that continues to capture both the heart and imagination of people everywhere. In this class, actors will be inspired by the repertoire of ancient gods and goddesses to learn the essential skills of characterization. Using engaging theatre games and characterization techniques, campers will learn how to embody larger than life characters. The camp will culminate in a showcase performance for friends and family.
